Meet Our Team

Lauren Edwards
Owner, CAIB

Lauren grew up all over southern Saskatchewan but graduated high school in Saskatoon. While attending the U of S in 2009, she met her husband, Basil, and moved to Nokomis to begin her life as a farmer’s wife in 2010. She and Basil have two kids – Brady (10) and Marley (8). She has been at Green Teal since November of 2016 and achieved her CAIB designation in 2020! Lauren enjoys all areas of insurance and finds most value in helping people learn how their insurance protects them.
Outside of life managing Green Teal, Lauren is also the owner of Common Spin Studio, where she teaches spin classes and Barre (come try it!). She enjoys spending time with her family at their cabin at Last Mountain Lake, driving the combine at harvest, watching football on Sundays, being outside, and spending time with her family and friends.

Angela Edwards
Office Administrator, Licensed Broker – Billing & Auto Insurance

Angela (or Angie as we call her!) lives on a farm just outside of Nokomis with her husband, Sean and their three children – Hunter, Tanner and Keira. She has worked at Green Teal since 2005 and is our trusted office administrator! Angela takes care of all of our billing and auto insurance inquiries, and helps keep us all organized. She enjoys her job because she loves helping people with their auto insurance, and providing them with the best coverage possible. Some of her interests outside of life at Green Teal are camping, watching her kids play sports, watching curling and spending time with her family!

Emily Jabs
Licensed Broker – Home & Agro Insurance

Emily grew up in Calgary, AB and moved to Nokomis when she was 13, where she lives with her husband, Braden, and their three busy boys – Marek, Cooper & Carson. She enjoys camping at the lake and spending time outside, watching her boys play sports, plants, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. A few of her favourite things are pottery mugs, plants and pizza. She is also a Seint makeup artist on the side! Emily has been taking her CAIB designation courses and is continuing to develop her knowledge in the insurance industry.

Brittany Kline, CAIB
Office Manager – Drake; Licensed Broker

Brittany grew up in Calgary, AB and Preeceville, SK – half in each! She moved from Regina out to Drake, where she lives with her husband, Christian, and puppy on his family farm. She has been with us at Green Teal since May of 2021 and will be working out of both our Nokomis and Drake offices. She obtained her CAIB designation in 2022, and received the award for having the highest average mark in Saskatchewan! Brittany is working on house, agro/farm and commercial insurance policies in our offices so you will likely chat with her on the phone at renewal time.

Brittany graduated from the University of Regina with a bachelor’s degree in Business.

In her spare time, she likes to be outside – whether it be in the garden or playing with their puppy Finn.
